The Maligned Patella Course is designed to improve outcomes for the treatment of Patellofemoral maladies.

Presentations and discussions from renowned faculty including an optional hands-on cadaver lab.

Day 1:

A Practical Algorithm to the Treatment of Patellofemoral Problems

A Focused Approach to the History, Physical Exam and Imaging of the Patellofemoral Joint: “It’s so simple a caveman can do it”

Gait Mechanics for Dummies: “Where the rubber meets the road”

Non–operative treatment: “Not the same old song and dance”

Soft Tissue Procedures: “The good, the bad and the ugly”

Skeletal Realignments: “Mechanical alignment holds the trump card”

Resurfacing Options: “Putting lipstick on a pig”
