The newly completed Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is a 127,000-square-foot, two-building complex housing specialized facilities that make the Institute unlike anything else in health care.

The proximity of all these services allows the team of physicians at the Andrews Institute to provide proficient world-class care to the patients. Integration of clinical services is a key to providing seamless care for the Institute patients, where the common services utilized to diagnose, treat and rehabilitate musculoskeletal injuries will be networked together as a truly seamless experience for the patient.

• The Andrews Institute Ambulatory Surgery Center is 26,000 square feet including eight digital operating rooms with multispecialty surgical capabilities. Features of the surgery center include interactive observation and digital imaging as well as video and audio conferencing. Innovative anesthesia and pain management techniques allow patients to go home comfortably within hours after a procedure.
• A 3.0 Tesla magnetic resonance scanner, the most powerful MRI in clinical use today. The exquisitely detailed images produced by this device heighten accuracy while minimizing testing time in diagnosing and treating broad categories of diseases, including conditions of the neurological and musculoskeletal system.
• FirstRehab at the Andrews Institute is at 12,000-square-foot state-of-the-art outpatient rehabilitation center. A progressive approach to injury treatment combines patient education, individualized exercise, manual therapy, aquatic therapy and a full range of modalities. FirstRehab also offers a full continuum of sports medicine services to local schools and community sports organizations.
• 38,000 square feet of medical office space for a network of more than 40 affiliated Andrews’ physicians who provide consultations and surgery in the following medical specialties: ear, nose and throat; general surgery; neurosurgery; optometry; ophthalmology; orthopaedics; pain management; physical medicine; plastic surgery; podiatry; primary care sports medicine; retinal care; and vascular care.

• Athletes’ Performance Florida – 10,000-square-foot athletic training facility with Hydroworx performance pools and a full set of outdoor facilities including a 70-meter sprint track, turf field, outdoor covered agility and court area, pitching mounds and a batting cage.
• The Andrews Research and Education Institute (AREI) provides continuing medical education, with conference and classroom facilities. AREI also conducts biomedical research with surgical skills training and biomechanic motion analysis related to prevention, treatment, and performance of athletes at all levels.
• Cafe Nosh – The newest addition to the eat! culinary family. Executive chefs Lee and Daniel offer world-class cuisine to compliment the Institute’s world-class setting.
